VIRGINIA I. BENJAMIN, age 64, of 283 McLean Road, Cortland, NY

was called to the Lord Saturday, April 21, 2007 at home. Mrs. Benjamin was born Aug. 15, 1942 at Binghamton, NY a daughter of Amelia Krasko Barber of Vestal Center, NY and the late William Krasko. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Benjamin, Sr., who died in 1989.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her children, Stephanie (Jerry Hewitt) Sharpsteen of Locke, Patricia (Timothy) Hutchings of Cortland, Edward (Denise) Benjamin of Marathon, Gary (Kimberly Wheeler) Benjamin of Cortland and Roy (Gidget) Benjamin of Cortland; sisters; a brother, aunts; uncles; grand and great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to call from 3 to 4 PM Tuesday, Apr. 24 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Private burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden.
