THEODORE E. "Ted" HULSLANDER, age 93, of 387 Lake Road, Dryden, NY died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006 at Northwoods Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Cortland, NY. "Ted" was born in Ithaca, NY a son of the late Eugene and Hopa May Puderbaugh Hulslander and had been a resident of Lake Road since in 1941. He was employed at the Ithaca City School District, Ithaca Gun Company, Syracuse University and retired from TST Boces. He was a 53 year member of the Dryden Grange. His loving wife, Trixie Willard Hulslander, died in January 9, 1992. Ted was a hard working man, a farmer, a man with excellent mechanical skills and a good father and grandfather who will be missed greatly by his family.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard T. and Barbara Hulslander of Baldwinsville; his grandson, Kevin (Kelly) Hulslander of Jamesville and Gregory (Kathy) Hulslander of Manlius, NY; his granddaughter, Carol (Michael) Rieth of Brewerton, NY; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Coreva Carpenter.
Services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 PM Monday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Friends who wish to remember Ted are asked to consider a memorial to the Dryden Baptist Church, P.O. Box 388, Dryden, NY 13053-0388 or the charity of one’s choice.
